When the Center selected Group Delphi to fabricate a new traveling exhibition on imperial Chinese astronomy, the challenge was to present major artifacts never before seen outside the People’s Republic of China, and to create an experience that was engaging and accessible for a Western audience. The design immerses visitors in the world of imperial China, bringing artifacts, related hands-on interactive elements and graphics together to demystify these intriguing and complex astronomical treasures.
