The Indiana Department of Natural Resources sought to create a memorial tribute to the life and achievements of astronaut Gus Grissom – from his childhood to his NASA career as an astronaut for U.S.’s Mercury, Gemini, Apollo. The memorial needed to be dignified but also engaging, interactive and fun. Teaming with Lifespace Design on the design, project management, graphic design, fabrication and installation, Group Delphi created a dynamic display of artifacts and mission specifics in open, easy-to-view manner that incorporated interactive games, models, films and personal items for fun and education.
