Intel: Intel Museum

Delphi was in charge of a complete redesign of the 10,000 sq. ft. Intel Museum, which tells the company’s story from its beginnings through its ongoing innovation. No big deal, right? The microprocessor is arguably the most important invention in the history of mankind, and Intel is the king of computing innovation. No pressure.

We created an immersive, high-tech world where museumgoers learn about Intel microprocessor history, silicon chip design, and chip fabrication. A redesigned path guides them through the complex world of silicon technology to show how Intel is changing how we live, work, and play. Interactive exhibits highlight key areas and encourage visitors to explore concepts in a fun and educational manner.

Delphi worked closely with Intel to redesign the museum’s flow and layout, as well as the presentation of the artifacts, graphics, and interactive exhibits. We worked with Taylor Group for cladding and enclosures and with Stimulant on touchscreen interactives to ensure that children, as well as adults, could enjoy and benefit from the museum.
