Medtronic: Heart Rhythm Society Trade Show 2014

Delphi manages more than 100 US trade shows and 60 global shows a year for Medtronic, a global medical device leader. With products ranging from the size of a pen to the size of a refrigerator, Medtronic requires a diverse exhibit strategy. We’ve created a flexible trade show exhibit that accommodates footprints from 100 to 10,000 sq. ft. This compelling, consistent program allows the Medtronic brand to be recognized around the world.

OUR CHALLENGE

Heart Rhythm Society is a critical convention for Medtronic. The company needed to demonstrate, in a clear and engaging way, its leading portfolio of new products while emphasizing its science and technology leadership and outstanding physician education.

HOW WE SOLVED IT

We organized the space into two zones: the Connection Zone for hospitality and networking and the Technology Zone for demonstrating Medtronic’s devices and products. Using the concept of a high-energy newsroom, we created custom video content that emulated the fast-paced editing of a news broadcast. We also designed and built three video arrays to span the length of the Connection Zone and highlight the fact that anywhere in the world, at any time, Medtronic improves patients’ lives. The Technology Zone allowed attendees to further explore the Medtronic products that deliver on this promise.

WHAT ELSE WE DID

We designed the video displays so they could be seen from the exhibit hall lobby and attract attendees as they descended down the escalators and into the show.
