Prestone: SEMA Show 2018

Trade show

The Las Vegas sunlight glinted off hundreds of freshly polished cars as exhibitors welcomed 70,000 automotive enthusiasts at SEMA Show 2018. One of the brightest exhibits in the space was Prestone, a Group Delphi partner since 2016. The multifaceted exhibit positioned Prestone as an industry leader in auto products — welcoming thousands in to interact with the latest in antifreeze/coolant technology.

Unique Challenges SEMA Show is one of the world’s largest auto shows. Navigating the logistical complexities of an event this size requires proactive thinking and expertise in equal measure. Group Delphi owned the process from concept to installation — creating an experience for Prestone that Senior Event Coordinator, David Kruse, described as, “an absolute pleasure.” But that wasn’t the only consideration. This 80-foot-by-30-foot exhibit was located outdoors under a canopy. Unpredictable weather and the unusual dimensions of the space could have been a hindrance — but Group Delphi took the opportunity to tell the Prestone story with creative flair.
But wait, there's more Prestone and Group Delphi built a smaller, 10-foot-by-20-foot, inline space featuring products from their Heavy Duty and Command product lines for AAPEX — a show just across town. Both spaces drew thousands over the course of the week — calling attendees to interact with a product essential to ensuring we all get where we need to go.
Hot and Cold The glacial blue graphics of the “cold zone” faded to yellow before stretching into the arid red “hot zone” across the back wall. Auto parts that performed in extreme temperatures sat on display at either end — standing as a testament to the power of Prestone products. Beyond the wall was Prestone’s marketing trailer. A row of both rusted and new trucks sat lined in front — speaking to Prestone’s history as an industrial-strength pioneer.
“Working with the Group Delphi team to help execute my company’s SEMA booths was an absolute pleasure. They made the nightmare that is logistics so easy. ”
